June 2025.
The rooftop heat hit different this week. The world is spinning, the sun is high, and just like that—Life Is Just a Dream is officially out now.
My book dropped on June 20th, one day after Juneteenth—a moment in time so full of meaning it feels written by fate itself. The day after we celebrate freedom, I dropped my own personal emancipation. A poetic breakthrough forged through trials, silence, prison bars, heartbreak, and divine grace.
But let’s be real: this didn’t just fall from the sky.
I strategically invested every dollar I saved over time to manifest this moment. I made sacrifices. I studied the game. I believed in the impossible even when nobody clapped. Every dime I stacked was for this dream—this legacy.
I didn’t just publish a book.
I built an entire infrastructure:
• A full-functioning website with preorder systems and multiple bundles.
• ISBNs and copyright protections.
• Covers and formatting for print, digital, and deluxe versions.
• A brand, Poetic Production NYC, to house it all and future work.
• Outreach to bookstores, schools, journalists, and even the streets.
And I did it on my own terms—no middleman, no gatekeeper.
Because sometimes you gotta bet on yourself like the odds were lying.
Now I’m seeing it all take shape.
People are preordering.
I’m getting press.
My name is showing up on Google.
My daughter, Charisma Love, sees her father doing something righteous and powerful—and that’s priceless.
This blog post is not just about the launch.
It’s about the alignment.
Summer solstice energy.
Juneteenth vibration.
Brooklyn spirit.
Divine orchestration.
And the relentless hustle of a man who refused to fold.
So yes, the book is live.
Go to PoeticProductionNYC.com
or Amazon, Barnes & Noble and grab your copy.
Let’s run it up to the New York Times Bestseller list.
Let’s shake the room with poetry.
And for anyone wondering what it looks like when patience and purpose finally meet…
This.
This is what it looks like.
Legacy in motion.
Let the summer speak.
