Lucky Goldie's Story

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Lucky Goldie's journey is a testament to the transformative power of words, faith, perseverance, and imagination. Long before literary recognition, awards, or published books, he was a dreamer searching for purpose in a world that often seemed determined to write a different story for him.

Through seasons of adversity, hardship, loss, and personal reflection, he discovered that poetry was more than an art form it was a lifeline. What began as a means of expression evolved into a calling. Armed with nothing more than a pen, a vision, and an unwavering belief in possibility, he began documenting the lessons, emotions, struggles, and triumphs that would eventually become the foundation of his creative legacy.

As a poet, author, music producer, performer, and creative director, Lucky Goldie has dedicated his work to exploring themes of resilience, faith, fatherhood, love, identity, purpose, and personal transformation. His writing reflects both the realities of urban life and the universal experiences that connect us all as human beings.

His debut collection, Life Is Just a Dream: A Book of Poetry, earned First Place in the BCALA Self-Publishing eBook Poetry Awards, marking a significant milestone in a journey built through years of persistence and self-belief. His work has also been featured through the Poets House Exhibition Program, archived within the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture collections, and cataloged through the Library of Congress.

Yet beyond the recognition, his greatest motivation remains legacy. As a father, he is committed to building something larger than himself an enduring body of work that will inspire future generations to dream boldly, create fearlessly, and overcome whatever obstacles stand before them.

Today, through Poetic Production NYC, Lucky Goldie continues to merge poetry, music, publishing, performance, and visual storytelling into a living artistic movement rooted in community, culture, and imagination.
