The Faceless Man & the Discipline of January

Ah yes good old stale, cold January.
It always returns the same way.
Each new year, same month, different frequency.
And my beloveds, as you know, January is now done and over with
so I gift you January’s blog.
This month was spent negotiating at the table,
quietly securing a future paved and written in Gold.
Some nights the table was just me, a pen, and silence
the kind of silence heavy enough to make men fold.
But I didn’t.
The tricky part about waking up from that slave-like slumber
and becoming one with your intellect
is the part nobody warns you about.
Your peers stop embracing you and start studying you.
Familiar faces begin to view you as competition
instead of community.
Nevertheless, I always remain the same
even while conducting business.
So what does all of this mean in the month of January?
Simple.
Ego and pride dissolved into dissolution,
buried where they belong in the past.
No need to carry what no longer serves the mission.
This is where The Faceless Man comes in.
The Faceless Man is the discipline of moving without applause
building in silence while the vision runs ahead of the crowd.
No announcement. No ego. No need to be seen.
Just execution, alignment, and patience.
That philosophy carried me into an artist residency
at a prestigious New York college
elevating my academic credibility
beyond even my own wildest dreams.
Do you get it now?
I let the enemy have the moment
because I own my future outright.
While others chase visibility,
I chased structure.
While others flexed,
I fortified.
And because of that divine discipline
I see, I come, I conquer, and I manifest indefinitely
what my heart desires.
As we echo into February, my beloveds,
embrace the courage to be different
while staying true to who you are.
Move in silence when necessary.
Choose integrity over ego.
Safeguard love without abandoning yourself.
Cold months create strong foundations.
Gold is forged under pressure.
Godspeed, my beloveds.
