Poetic Production NYC: A Legacy in Three Movements

ree

I. Poetry in Motion — The Spark (2019–2022)

This is where it began.

A young voice in Brooklyn, navigating fatherhood, dreams, and survival through the rhythm of verse. Poetry became more than just self-expression—it became therapy, prayer, blueprint.

During this time, I started writing Life is Just a Dream, pouring my truth into every page while rediscovering myself as both a creator and a man. I was moving through life’s trials with a pen in one hand and purpose in the other. Every verse was motion, every page momentum.

Highlights:

• First poems crafted post-incarceration

• Inspired by late-night sessions, music loops, and fatherhood

• Early drafts of Life is Just a Dream were born

• Performed at underground showcases and open mics in Brooklyn

II. Poetic Justice — The Shift (2022–2024)

This was the moment I stopped writing just for me and started writing to uplift, to heal, to testify.

“Poetic Justice” became my code—it’s about honoring the unseen, giving rhythm to the voiceless, and using art as resistance.

I wrote poems for my late brother Moe, for my daughter’s legacy, and for the ancestors whose stories were buried in silence. This was a poetic rebellion with intention. It was justice, not in courtrooms, but in cadence.

Highlights:

• Completion and copyright of Life is Just a Dream

• Wrote and performed “Supernova” at Brooklyn Poets Yawp

• Hosted events combining music and poetry

• Began mentoring and homeschooling my daughter with poetry as a guide

• Conceptualized The Golden Trilogy

III. Poetic Production — The Legacy (2024–Present)

Now we create at scale. Poetic Production is not just a name—it’s a movement, a formula. It fuses the soul of “Poetry in Motion” with the truth of “Poetic Justice” and transforms it into something tangible. Music. Books. Events. A business. A brand.

This is the era of doing it on purpose, with purpose.

I’m self-publishing. Producing my own EP. Managing my daughter’s modeling career. Building a clothing line. Opening a studio. This isn’t just art—it’s legacy being manufactured by hand.

Highlights:

Crows of the Ghetto EP + three music videos release Summer 2025

The Golden Trilogy drops Winter 2025

• Feature interview with VoyageATL

• Partnership with W. Calvin Anderson and New York Shoutout

• Preparing to headline stages and lead from the front

Conclusion: A Note to the Dreamers

If you’ve ever been told “no,” if you’ve ever sat in silence with a story inside you—this platform is for you.

Poetic Production isn’t just mine. It’s ours.

Keep writing. Keep building. The legacy will speak for you.
