JULY JOURNAL | Lucky Goldie’s Golden Momentum

July was a motion picture.
Every frame moved with meaning—each day another brushstroke of legacy in the making. I started the month with a dream, but now I’m walking through global distribution. Life Is Just a Dream is no longer just mine—it belongs to the world now. From NYC shelves to Walmart to my very own hands—gift-wrapped, signed, sealed in gold, and sent with a thank-you note that reads like a prayer.
1,000 copies in sight, and it wasn’t done by luck. It was hustle. Heart. And the street team I built from the ground up—moving through Manhattan with golden flyers and fresh Polaroids, making every book feel like a blessing. If you caught us outside, you felt the energy. You heard the name. You saw the dream in motion.
Charisma Love—my daughter, my muse, my miracle—continued her run. Modeling, shining, elevating. She is the future in living form. We celebrated another month of her journey, more magazine clippings, and more clients drawn to her light. She’s already who she’s meant to be—we’re just watching it unfold.
There were big doors opening, too. Literary agents responded. Opportunities brewing with The Breakfast Club. Taraji’s camp tapped in. My words are moving through rooms I haven’t even entered yet, but they already know the name: Lucky Goldie.
I submitted to the Brooklyn Book Festival and offered them something legendary—Poetic Production: A Live Experience. An immersive journey through poetry, visuals, and music. I plan to bring the soul of Brooklyn to life with my brother onstage beside me. We’re not waiting to be invited—we’re bringing the vision.
And amidst it all, I wrote a poem for my father—Decorey Lamont Rowe. July 27th, 1972. Born from struggle, carried nine of us the best way he could. His story lives in me, through me, and now forever in poetic form. The crows still represent. The streets still echo. And the love still pours.
Beats have been cooking quietly. The studio’s warming up. I’m preparing my next drops like sacred offerings. And yes, I’m still chiseling away at a little poetic project that’s close to my heart—the one inspired by nature, seasons, and my daughter’s charisma. But more on that when the time’s right.
For now—I thank everyone who’s supported, purchased, reposted, or just believed. July was heavy with history, but I promise: August will be golden.
