Poetic Production NYC was founded on a simple belief: art has the power to preserve culture, transform lives, and build lasting community.

Founded in Brooklyn by award-winning poet, author, music producer, and creative director Lucky Goldie, the organization brings together literature, music, education, and visual storytelling to inspire readers, students, artists, and communities across generations.

Since its founding, the work has grown from independent publishing into a nationally recognized creative platform. Milestones include the 2026 BCALA Self-Publishing EBook Award for Poetry, recognition through the Poets House Exhibition Program, inclusion within the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, and cataloging by the Library of Congress. Together, these achievements reflect a commitment to creating meaningful work that preserves stories, encourages literacy, and expands access to the arts.

Today, Poetic Production NYC continues to grow through educational programming, author visits, live performances, music production, and original literary projects while building toward a permanent creative ecosystem where artists, writers, musicians, and young creators can learn, collaborate, and thrive.
